Dakota Mae Loves YOU.

This is Krysta. She has supported me for as long as my store has been around. I am so grateful to have her as a client and a friend. We had so much fun shopping and catching up yesterday. 

In this picture Krysta wears one of her newly purchased outfits; the Ritchie Blouse worn with the Lisette L Pants. This is a great work look but the pieces can also be worn as separates. The blouse with jeans makes for a more casual look and those dress pants make it easy to create so many 'office looks'. Lastly we put a mini stretch belt in Blush with Gold detail to break up the solid black and white.

The Met Ball 2014

This years Costume Institute Gala, informally known as The Met Ball, did not disappoint! Each year the fundraiser benefitting it's namesake is hosted by American Vogue's Anna Wintour, and honoring Charles James. It's the place where attendees can be as playful and outrageous as they want! Every year I look forward to seeing fashions fabulous strut their stuff on the red carpet anxiously awaiting what is about to come, and who will be wearing it. One after the other; a lineup of couture dresses: Gucci, Dior, McQueen and Givenchy to name a few all-stars. This years trends seemed to include voluminous skirts, high slits, crop tops and long trains. Here is my pick for top 5 BEST DRESSED.

The Statement Necklace
